During a work visit to Berlin, I held a working session with my counterpart, Annalena Baerbock, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany. Our discussion proved to be very fruitful as we explored the long-standing historical relations between our two countries, Senegal and Germany. We also exchanged views on international issues and addressed various African concerns that require balanced cooperation between our continents, highlighting our shared priorities.At the end of our discussions, we had the opportunity to sign an agreement on the opening of regular political consultations, a first despite the long-standing cooperative relationship between our two nations. I express my gratitude to Annalena for her gracious invitation and warm and friendly welcome.This article showcases the diplomatic efforts and cooperation between Senegal and Germany.
