Tragedy on the national road number 1: 13 dead and about forty injured in a bus accident in KoungheulIt is with horror and sadness that we learned of the accident that occurred yesterday evening on the national road number 1, in the small town of Koungheul. A public transport bus veered off course, killing 13 people and injuring about 40 others.According to a security source, the accident occurred at around 7 p.m., near the village of Yamong, in the department of Koungheul. The circumstances of this tragedy are still unclear, but it seems that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the bus to swerve to its death.At the scene of the accident, there was dismay and consternation. Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene and local authorities immediately mobilized to take care of the victims. But sadly, despite everyone’s efforts, 13 people lost their lives in this tragedy.The images posted on social media are shocking: the bus overturned on its side, debris strewn across the road, rescue workers working around the injured.
