President Macky Sall presided over the 9th edition of the Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa this morning. The theme of this year’s event, “Africa of potentials and solutions in the face of security challenges and institutional instability,” aims to mobilize and value human resources in the search for appropriate solutions to the continent’s security challenges and institutional instability. In his speech, President Sall emphasized the necessity of peace for Africa to fully exploit its potential and called for dialogue to resolve disputes. He also highlighted the importance of overcoming partisan divides to build the necessary coalitions for stability of national institutions.The Head of State also emphasized the value of pooling forces, intelligence, and resources in Africa for its development and integration.
