Today, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, began a working and friendship visit to Guinea-Bissau. Shortly after his arrival in the sister republic of Guinea-Bissau, the head of state had a one-on-one meeting with his Bissau-Guinean counterpart, followed by a meeting between the two delegations to discuss topics aimed at strengthening the longstanding relations between Senegal and Guinea-Bissau.During the discussions, various areas of cooperation were reviewed, including agriculture, fishing, training, and the sharing of experiences in strategies to combat poverty. It is evident that both countries are looking to solidify their bond and work together towards mutual development.This visit is a testament to the strong friendship and deep historical ties between Senegal and Guinea-Bissau.
