Binance, a leading blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, has expanded access to cryptocurrency in Africa by allowing users in selected countries to purchase crypto directly through mobile money payments, made possible through local partnerships.
This move aims to increase financial inclusion for users across the continent, making it easier for them to access cryptocurrency using their local mobile money services.
Samantha Fuller, spokesperson for Binance, states, “We are committed to promoting financial inclusion and offering user-friendly solutions for crypto adoption in Africa. This expansion into West and Central Africa is a significant step towards achieving that goal.”
