The English Football Association (FA) has decided not to punish Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson for slapping Nottingham Forest’s Morato.
The incident involving Jackson and Morato was reviewed by the video assistant referee and the officials did not find any wrongdoing on the part of the Senegalese international.
The altercation began when Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams collided with Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella, causing the full-back to fall into the technical area and accidentally bump into his coach Enzo Maresca.
Despite the controversial nature of the incident, the FA has chosen not to take any disciplinary action against Jackson, citing lack of evidence to support any wrongdoing on his part.
