President Faye highlighted the importance of prioritizing the transformation of raw materials within Senegal’s borders before exporting them. This, he believes, will lead to a more balanced trade and boost the country’s overall growth.
When asked about the main priorities of Vision 2050, the long-term development plan for Senegal, President Faye emphasized the need for promoting and investing in local manufacturing. This, he believes, will not only create jobs but also add value to the country’s natural resources.
