
Rabat, Morocco – Sudan and Senegal are set to face off in a crucial CAF World Cup qualifier today at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Benghazi, Libya. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. Moroccan time (GMT), as both teams compete for a spot in the 2026 World Cup.
Sudan, currently leading Group B with 10 points, will be looking to secure their first-ever World Cup appearance and maintain their top position in the group. The Falcons of Jediane have been impressive in this qualifying campaign, remaining unbeaten with three wins and one draw. After starting with a 1-1 draw against Togo, Sudan bounced back with victories against Congo DR, Mauritania, and South Sudan.
